SMS Terms
These terms apply to text messages sent by Pactlo Agreement Notifications, the text message program of Pactlo, a product of MRD Studio, Inc.
What we send
Pactlo sends transactional text messages about agreements you are part of:
- a link to review and sign an agreement that a business or person sent you through Pactlo;
- one-time verification codes to confirm your phone number before you sign;
- reminders until the agreement is signed or the requested payment is made; and
- confirmations and receipts when an agreement is signed or paid.
Each message names the sender of the agreement. Pactlo writes the content of every message. We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and senders cannot use Pactlo to send them.
How you opt in
You receive these messages because a sender entered your mobile number for an agreement with you and confirmed that you agreed to receive text messages about it, and because you agree to receive reminders and receipts when you open the agreement. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies by agreement. You may receive a signing link, verification codes when you sign, and reminders until the agreement is signed or paid, typically no more than one reminder per day. Messages stop when the agreement is completed, cancelled or expires.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Pactlo does not charge you for these messages. Check your mobile plan for details.
Opting out and getting help
- Reply STOP to any Pactlo text message to stop receiving them. We will send one confirmation message and then no more texts to that number. You can still review and sign by email or by opening the link.
- Reply HELP to any Pactlo text message for help, or email support@pactlo.com.
- To start receiving messages again after opting out, reply START.
Carriers
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We use your mobile number only to send these messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
