Refunds & Cancellation
Cancelling should be as easy as signing up, and refunds should be fair. Here is how both work.
Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account settings, online, without contacting us.
- Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep paid features until then, and you will not be charged again.
- After that, your account moves to the free plan. Your completed agreements stay available, and we keep sealed agreements for the period described in our Terms.
- You will receive an email confirming your cancellation.
Refunds for Pactlo subscriptions
- We do not prorate or refund partial billing periods when you cancel.
- If you were charged by mistake, forgot to cancel before a renewal, or something about Pactlo did not work as promised, email support@pactlo.com within 30 days of the charge and we will make it right, usually with a full refund of that charge.
- Annual plans: if you cancel within 14 days of the first annual charge, we will refund it in full.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
Payments collected by senders
When a business or person collects a deposit or payment from you through Pactlo, that payment goes to them, not to Pactlo. They are the seller and are responsible for refunds and disputes under their own policies and the agreement you signed.
- To ask for a refund of such a payment, contact the sender using the details in your agreement or receipt.
- Senders can issue refunds through their Pactlo account. Pactlo’s platform fee on the original payment is not refunded, unless the law requires it.
- If you cannot reach the sender, email support@pactlo.com and we will try to help, but we cannot issue refunds on a sender’s behalf.
Delivery
Pactlo is software delivered online. Paid features are available immediately after you subscribe. There is nothing to ship or return.
